The Rye Interfaith Festival Song, composed by Ruth Christiansen, was sung by school kids at the closing ceremony.

The Rye Interfaith Festival Committee has been overwhelmed with letters of support from numerous faith leaders and politicians including the Prime Minister of Australia - The Honourable Kevin Rudd MP, the Premier of Victoria - John Brumby MP, and the Minister assisting the Premier on Multicultural Affairs - James Merlino MP.

The Interfaith steering committee of the Rye Beach Community Action Group are currently in talks with the Mornington Peninsula Shire for the development of the Mornington Peninsula Interfaith Network (MPIN).
